Theme

Dark or light colours for the whole site.

Accent colour

Used for buttons, links and highlights. Warnings stay yellow and errors red.

Style

Flat has square corners and thin lines. Glow has rounder corners and a soft glow behind the page.

Animations

Pulsing status dots and moving timers. Always off when your device asks for less motion.

Layout

Full window uses the whole width on large screens.

UI scale

Makes text and controls smaller or larger, from 80% to 125%.

100%
Row density

Compact makes table rows shorter, so more players fit on the screen.

Hunting

Targets per page

How many rows the target, bounty, revenge and list tables show at first. You can still change it on each table.

Minimum fair fight for chain targets

Where the slider in Chain mode starts when you open it without choosing a value.

2.0x
Strongest target for bounties

Bounty targets estimated to give a higher fair fight than this are marked as risky.

Data & API

Live checks per minute

The most status checks TornHelper makes per minute. They share TornHelper's total of 75 Torn calls per minute with everything else, and slow down when other features are busy. Torn allows 100 calls per minute per player across all your tools, so a higher value leaves less for the others.

Fast mode

Rechecks the next 5 players out of hospital and your tagged players as often as Torn allows (every 30 seconds at most). It only runs while Auto-update is on.

Offline mode

Pauses every Torn request from this browser: status checks, bounties, chain timer, Scout, lists lookups and sharing your attacks. Pages keep showing what they already have, and the chain countdown keeps counting from its last reading. If you turned on automatic sync, our server still syncs your attacks hourly until you turn that off.

Start & layout

What you want to do decides which tool the start page offers first and the order of your tools. Stored in this browser only.

Show live strip

A bar under the top bar on every page with the chain timer, hits, minimum fair fight, the next target and the ranked war score. It shows while the chain watch is on; hiding it does not stop the watch, its alerts or the countdown in the tab title.

Shortcuts

Single-key shortcuts

J and K move through rows, N picks the next target, G then T, S, H or L jumps to a page, and more. They never fire while you type. Ctrl K (Jump to) always works.
